The Director of Quality Management is a key leadership position responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the quality assurance and enhancement strategies at Kurdistan Technical Institute. The individual will ensure that KTI meets its academic and operational excellence goals, aligns with accreditation standards, and sustains its reputation as a leading technical institution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership
Develop and implement a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) tailored to the institution's goals.
Align institutional policies and procedures with international quality assurance standards (e.g., ISO, Bologna Process).
Lead the development of strategic plans for quality improvement across academic and administrative units.
2. Quality Assurance and Accreditation
Ensure compliance with national and international accreditation bodies' standards.
Monitor and evaluate programs to align with Kurdistan Ministry of Higher Education and other regulatory requirements.
Manage accreditation renewal processes and maintain documentation for all quality assurance initiatives.
3. Performance Assessment
Oversee performance evaluations for faculty, staff, and programs.
Implement student feedback mechanisms to improve teaching, curriculum, and infrastructure.
Prepare reports and analysis on institutional performance and recommend strategies for improvement.
4. Training and Capacity Building
Organize workshops and training sessions on quality management, assessment, and improvement for faculty and staff.
Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the institution.
5. Stakeholder Engagement
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and accreditation bodies.
Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to ensure adherence to quality standards.
6. Data Analysis and Reporting
Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Prepare and present periodic quality assurance reports to KTI’s leadership and other stakeholders.
